The Protestant Theological Institute is the only institute that trains protestant pastors in Romania, in two towns (in Cluj - Napoca in Hungarian, and in Sibiu in German). Both have the same leading council: the Senate.

written test in Old and New Testament, oral examen in Luther\'s Small Catechism, examination in religious hymn, German literature and grammatical test, or the applicants must have the "Zertifikat Deutsch"
