This body was founded in 1976 with the union of three presbyteries of Korean immigrant churches. These congregations were affiliated with the Presbyterian Church of Korea (TongHap) before deciding to become an independent national body. The church cooperates closely in mission with the Korean Christian Church in Japan and the Presbyterian Church (USA).
