“Reformed Congregations” were a group that left the Netherlands Reformed Church in 1907. Immigrants from that group joined with some dissident congregations of the Christian Reformed Church who were dissatisfied with the influence of the Dutch church leader and politician, Abraham Kuyper. In a dispute in 1992, six congregations left to form the Heritage Netherlands Reformed Congregations (cf. no. 21).
