The church grew out of a broadcasting program “Reformed Perspectives,” which was started in 1978 by Rev. A. R. Kayayan. He was financially and spiritually supported by the Dutch Reformed Church (NGK) from South Africa and by the Christian Reformed Church in North America. The church was officially registered by the state authorities in 1991.
