This church was organized in 1991 through the work of Mission to the World (Presbyterian Church of America). It states that it is conservative and evangelical and claims to be “the only Ref or Presb denomination in Ecuador.” The presby in Quito presently has five churches. There is also a presby in formation in Guayaquil with two mission churches.
