The existence of this church is due to the arrival, in 1960, of Presb immigrants from Guatemala —Antonio Farfan and Benjamin Jacob —in the region of Piedra Bonita. These pioneers made contact with the Presbyterian Church of Guatemala and asked for missionaries. Since then the church developed its activities, and several congr and preaching stations were established. The work was strengthened through proposals by the leadership of the church; they suggested various social activities such as health care, education, youth work, fighting drug addiction, and forming of young people in the Christian faith.
