This Hungarian Reformed Church started in 1938 with the missionary work of Daniel Háry. In 1954 the church was constituted by Rev. Balász Dezsö Nagy, who had arrived in the country in 1953. He was succeeded by the pastors Imre Szábo and István Kotsis and, at present, Gyula Süto. In 1956 the church and the pastor’s house were dedicated. In 1960 part of the congregation joined the Luth congregation in Buenos Aires. The congregation uses the same liturgy as the Reformed Church in Hungary. The congregation is also involved in social work. The pastor seeks to give pastoral assistance to a group of Hungarian Ref members in the interior of Argentina and in Uruguay and Chile.
