This Church was founded in 1988 in Rosario (central region) by Rev Antonio Andrés Gomez on behalf of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in the USA (cf. United States no. 16). After it had been constituted it lost its links with the American church and became self-supporting.It entertains contacts with the Presbyterian Church San Andrés (cf. no. 1) with the intention of forming one presby in the region. It supports social projects in the region and participates in the ecumenical movement. It hopes to initiate evangelistic work in the center of the city and to expand to other areas, to start a theological school, and to build a center for homeless people.
