In March 1991 the Taiwanese pastor Chuang Chiou Wei arrived in Buenos Aires 51 with the intention of establishing a church among immigrants of Taiwanese nationality. The Presbyterian Church Mui was formally inaugurated in 1995. Because work began only recently, the church has not yet ordained leaders. Attention is concentrated on the capital, but there is also a preaching station to look after Taiwanese in the interior of the country. The church participates financially in missionary work among Argentineans under the leadership of a Taiwanese pastor.
