A Hungarian pastor arrived in Melbourne in 1949, and in 1973 a separate Hungarian-speaking congregation was founded. There are also Hungarian-speaking Ref communities in other cities. In Melbourne a second congregation was started in 1982 by a young pastor; it is known under the name Free Hungarian Reformed Church of Australia (2 Mill Avenue, Forest Hill, Australia 3131).
