This church resulted from a split in 1972. Dr. Kim Chi-Sun separated from DaeShin I (no. 16) in connection with a dispute over the seminary and founded DaeShin II. They founded another DaeShin Seminary, which later (1980) was recognized as a college. The denomination developed around the college.
