The church separated from HapDongBoSu I (no. 29). It had participated in the union movement to restore unity with HapDong, but after its failure it became an independent denomination. It is very conservative, opposed to both the WCC and the ICCC. It is one of the larger conservative bodies and runs nine seminaries and ten Bible schools.
