After the division of HapDong into mainline and non-mainline, under the leadership of Pastor Chung Bong-Kuk and Chung Na-Yul three small denominations united and formed a new assembly under the name of SungHap (1981). SungHap was responsible for BoSu Seminary, which later was renamed Paul Seminary (1984). SungHap collaborated closely with government policies. Chung BongKuk left SungHap in 1984 and founded SungHapChuk (no. 51). SungHap changed its name to YeJang.
