This church was founded by Pastor Rakotobe Andriamaro who was, until 1955, a pastor of the church related to the Paris Evangelical Missionary Society. Its teaching and its structure is Ref, though, in recent years, it tends to place increased emphasis on Congreg positions. It is associated with the ICCC and with the Africa Inland Mission, which provides missionaries and teachers. Its present head is the son of the founder.
