This church plays an important role in society by participating as much as possible in decision-making groups concerned with social issues and the welfare of the country. The youth of St. John’s parish in the capital have shown interest in a ministry to battered women and generally in family counseling. The church seeks to fulfill an ecumenical ministry among the denominations.
