There are numerous Prot groups outside the CCT. In 1969 the Evangelical Fellowship of Thailand (EFT) was formed comprising 25 foreign missions and organizations, most of whom are evangelical or Pent. At the present time they represent around 300 churches and 650 worship groups with a total membership of about 25,000. Among them the Gospel Church Foundation of Thailand, a church with close links to the Christian and Missionary Alliance, deserves special mention.The Thailand Bapt Churches Association (related to the Southern Bapt in the USA) and the Advent do not belong to either the CCT or the EFT. Some joint activities between the two organizations have taken place since the 1970s on an ad hoc basis. In 1993 a Joint Committee for Prot in Thailand was set up which consists of the CCT, the EFT, and the Southern Bapt. The EFT runs the Bangkok Bible Seminary and College.
