Nes Ammin Christian Settlement Nes Ammin is a solidarity project founded in 1960 by Dr. Johan Pilon and supported by three Ref Churches in the Netherlands, by several Prot Churches in Germany, and by Friends Organizations in countries such as Switzerland and the USA. About 150 people, mainly Dutch and German, are living in Nes Ammin. From the beginning, the community rejected any missionary attitude toward the Jewish people. The village has a guest house and receives about 25,000 visitors annually. Nes Ammin is accepted by Israelis as an integral part of the multicolored landscape of Israel. The community also entertains friendly relations with Arab Christians. Various study projects of the community concentrate on themes showing the Jewish roots of Christianity.
