In contrast to GIM (cf. no. 12) this church did not wish to establish a new Moluccan church in the Netherlands. It continues to regard itself as part of the GPM in Indonesia (cf. Indonesia no. 36). Its members consider themselves to be living in exile. Today the NGPMB is the second largest Moluccan group in the Netherlands. Like the GIM it cooperates officially with the NHK (cf. no. 1) and GKN (cf. no. 5).
